THE TIAMAT

We who have walked fires of loss, dismantling, dismembered, destruction, confusion, dissolution; may know that flames birth and destroy simultaneously. The alchemical consumption of matter to create ether. Scorched earth is essential for certain sorts of growth. There are times when we walk in the clouds of sacred smoke from the spirit realm fires.

We may have also, glimpsed in these liminal places there is a consciousness, a luminous web that's binding, weaving, pulsing between and through every form, frequency, thought, fractal; even as they are being destroyed. Maybe this is the original code of primal feminine shapeshifting.

I was seeking a face of the divine feminine, a Goddess as ally who had been destroyed and then put herself back together again. I needed these codes.

This is when Tiamat appeared.

I had already crafted and cast The Tiamat, tho I did not know She was as yet. The form was similar to the Cosmic Mother, this Mother blade, yet not.

Like the Cosmic Mother, this form is also a still frame of a Toroidal Field.

The song, the code the myth of Tiamat is still unfolding. She is another of the ancient Goddesses in the cosmology of my DNA, whose truth has been inverted, destroyed and coded. We are in the time of truth being revealed and those who are seeking will be shown. I look forward to hearing your experiences.

Tiamat was the divine creative primordial force before form. She was personified as the chaos of salty waters of the cosmic sea. Her divine consort Abzu was the masculine, a body of still of fresh water. Together they filled the cosmic abyss with the primeval waters. They created the first of the 10 deities. The powerful and beautiful these Gods and Goddesses were disruptive and Abzu told Tiamat he was tired of the noise and wanted things to return as they were. Tiamat would not agree to the death of her divine children. The oldest God/son, Marduk heard of his fathers plan and slew his father. Tiamat in her despair, birthed the first eleven monsters to battle the unruly deities in order to avenge Abzu's death.

These were her own offspring: Bašmu (Venomous Snake), Ušumgallu (Great Dragon), Mušmahhu (Exalted Serpent), Mušhuššu (Furious Snake), Lahmu (the Hairy One), Ugallu (the Big Weather-Beast), Uridimmu (Mad Hound), Girtablullû (Scorpion-Man), Umu dabrutu (Violent Storms), Kulullû (Fish-Man), and Kusarikku (Bull-Man).

It is for this that Tiamat is the birther of dragons and known as The Dragon Mother.

The battle ensued and Tiamat lost. She reconstituted herself into the Earth and Heavens. She is a true Cosmic Mother, the Mata of all form in this corner of the multiverse.
