The Orphic Egg Pendant is an archival, sculptural piece crafted as an homage to primordial creation, ancient Greek cosmology, and the mysteries of the universe. In the Orphic tradition, the cosmic egg represents the original, unified container from which the first-born deity of light, Phanes, hatches to spin the cosmos into existence. Bound tightly by the serpent of time, Chronos, it signifies infinite potential, divine sovereignty, and the re-weaving of ancient earth wisdom into physical form.

The serpent and the egg is a mystical relationship that appears in many creation mythologies, including Ancient European spiritual traditions; tho the most recognized reference is Greek. It resonates with my understanding of Lilith, She is related to the serpent and the first seeds/microbes/eggs of form on Earth. At this time tho it is clear humanity is being initiated, and this form has been calling to me for some time. In the making, the mystery of the call is slowly revealed. I am still in the making and sitting with the mystery. These are works in progress, the silver egg and serpent are spinning in the cosmos, the pendant has a 4 directions cross. Every morning I bow to the directions as forces of my dream making.

This ceremonial talisman is hand-forged using old-world metalsmithing techniques, deliberately echoing the look of golden artifacts unearthed from ancient museum collections. The central oval shape represents the primeval womb of nature, housing deep elemental magic meant for personal ritual and empowerment.

The symbology features detailed saw-work representing the cosmic split, accompanied by protective sculptural serpent forms. My intention is this will serve you as an energetic anchor for new beginnings, sovereign creation, and ancestral memory.
