As the Earth spirals into the lengthening of nights, the myths our ancestors carried as codes, rise back into our consciousness.

This is an invitation to join an inperson happening; The Oracular Sojourn: a day to meet the fertile mystery of the darkening, remembering your life as living myth, and draw in the sweet intelligence of your creativity.

How Do We Enter the Dark for Illumination

Weaving in the myth of Persephone’s descent into the Underworld, we step into darkness as an ancient other realm landscape of alchemy. The dark soil of Gaia’s skin is where the seeds germinate and roots deepen, in the dark of the womb new life begins, in the dark field of dreaming your subconscious reveals truth, in the dark silence of meditation wise guidance arrives. Persephone’s journey into the darkeness shapeshifts from Maiden of the upper light worlds to Queen of the under dark worlds; are the codes that sovereign power is gained in the navigation of dark realms. Descent into darkeness is a passageway to a sovereign, awakened, and fully expressed self.

To ascend carrying the wisdom of both worlds.

At the heart of our gathering is the amphora, an ancient vessel for water, wine, oil, grain, and medicine. Here, it becomes a symbol of the creative feminine: open to receiving, spacious enough to hold mystery, and abundant with possibility.

Mythic Making & Sacred Revelation

Caroline Seckinger and Whitney Freya will guide you through myth, embodied wisdom, ritual, creative exploration, and kinship. Through storytelling, mystical practices, divinatory art-making, and deep presence, we will weave Persephone’s ancient story into the living mythology of our own lives.

Whitney will lead an oracular creative process of creating a personal collection of divination cards ; inviting you to experience art-making as a conversation with your inner wisdom. Your colors, symbols, marks, and intuitive gestures become a language through which the unseen can find expression.

You don’t need to know what you’re making, have the answers, or think of yourself as an artist. You are invited to surrender to the possibility that something wiser, wilder, and more expansive is ready to create through you.

You will ask. You will play. You will make. You will listen.

A Gathering of Curious Hearts & Devoted Spirits

The Oracular Sojourn is a celebration of what becomes possible when kindred spirits gather.

THE DAY
We will share cacao, then move solo into the fields, trees, sky, bird flights, wild kin ways and winds of the Sonoma property to hear the darkening beyond language with the pulsing web. We return to a collection of supplies to create divination cards, steep in wisdom, dance, sip elixirs, feast on a farm-to-table lunch, exchange stories, shift a veil in a fire cermony. We become the unexpected magic of women devoted to the mythic dimensions of life.

Caroline will conjure Perspephones myth as we create and play. Thru ritual and ceremony she will guide a path or two of the arts of divination.

It is a day to fall more deeply in love with the mystery of who you are becoming.

To be held by the Sacred Feminine. To create without expectation. To experience the subtle joy of the Underworld. To embody a sacred, creative adventure.

Every sojourn changes us in ways we cannot fully anticipate. Perhaps you will return with a new vision, a forgotten desire, an unexpected insight, or deeper trust in your creative intelligence.

As the day closes, imagine carrying your own amphora home, filled with the creative nectar of your experience—not to preserve on a shelf, but to pour into your relationships, creative expression, dreams, and next becoming.
